How long it takes to update online status ?

How long it takes to see the online status change ?

I have seen it vary from 24 hours to one month

My online status has not been updated since April 2002 -- when they sent me notification for my first fingerprint. I have had my 2nd FP last December 2003, and still the status that's in there has not changed at all.
