How long it takes to receive the I485 approval letter

Finally received courtesy copies, after MANY days!
Approved on 11/9/00.
Approval letter postmarked 11/16/00!
Sent to old address then forwarded to new.
The moral: if you have changed address, please do call the INS to make sure it\'s gone thru. Otherwise, to ask INS to resend, you\'ll need to file a special form, which takes 3-6 months officially and costs $120!
