HOw long it takes everyone to get the receipt of I-485 or have your check cashed from the date INS receives your petition? My lawyer told me it takes from 2 weeks to 8 weeks, seems odd to me, since it only took a week for me to get my H1b and I-140 receipts before. Thanks a lot!
