How long it takes to get receipt notice for AP

I have applied for a AP for my kid, and the certified mail was received at NSC on 5/15. So far no signs of check encashment or any receipt notice.

I know its too early, however, people in similar situation please advice when should I expect the receipt notice or any proof.

i never got any reply/receipt on my AP (applied in Feb 03). Then one day in mid-April, i received my approved AP papers through postal mail; its just a matter of time;
