Hi,
I heard that an interim EAD card is usually valid for 240days.
and you will get a REAL EAD card later.
my question is
when you get a REAL EAD card,
What is it said in your REAL EAD card that refers to an expiration date ?
Is it the same duration you got on your interim EAD card? meaning just for 240days ?
It passed 90days since I recived I-797(I-765 receipt) and haven't received an EAD card yet.
so I'm going to apply for an Interim EAD card at Santa Ana, CA.
and I'm also thinkig to work on just OPT and go back to my home country when an EAD card is expired.
so I'd like to work as long as I can. not just 240days but a year.
