interesting, a lot of people have waited 4-5 years. another 5 years for citizenship and maybe 1-3 years of being in the states on a visa-or longer.

this whole process for many to citizenship will be over 10 years.

your calculations are too optimistic

I am here since August 1995, so it is more than 9 years already, but still no GC and not even 2nd FP.
If suppose that my 485 will be approved within next 6 months, then add 5 years, then at least 1 year between application and citizenship, it will be about 16 years total.
