How long from LUD to actually getting EAD?

Hi all,

My EAD expires on the July 13th. I sent an expedite request with a letter from my manager on the 2nd of July and saw LUD on 2nd of July. I have not recieved an approval mail. How long does it normally take from a LUD to getting the approval/card?

Worst case, if I don't get my EAD before July 13th, I am planning to go on leave without pay. Is this ok? or do I have to resign my job?

Please help me. I am in a desperate situation.

You can go an a unpaid leave, privided your company is OK with this. They do not have to terminate your employment.

We are in the same boat for my wife's EAD. We filed expediate on 07/12 and LUD changed to 07/12. But nothing after.We also contacted local congresswoman to expediate EAD.
Did you got your approval..?
