How long for RFE to be approved

Normally, what kind of case will get transfered?
NIW, AC21...?

After more than two years waiting, the worst would be "transfer to local office".

What was urRFE about?
 
The RFE for me is:
*. Incomplete medical form
*. employment letter
*. copy of passport
*. two year W2

can we know, when was the rfe issued

some people say , if rfe is received within 30 days of issue date.. your file gets picked up quickly other wise it goes back into queue or take longer time..
 
Once you submit reply to RFE, it may take anywhere between 1 month to 9 months for approval. That's what i have observed from various postings here. There are many people who have replied to RFE about 6 months back and did not get approval yet.

No job, no address change after I485 filed.

No wonder some RFEs were approved within 10 days, some were not. Does same office who reviewed my case will review the RFE again ?

BCIS received my RFE on 12/9/2002.

I am really sorry to your case. Have you called BCIS ? Becasue according to the web, it supposed to take less than 365-540 days to process RFE cases. What was your RFE about?
 
if anybody copy of rfe notice from

their lawyer , it clearly says after we receive the rfe , it should take minimum 14 and max 60 days to make a decision, if you don't hear in that time frame . call NSC..
 
I was derivative on the 485 filing I got an RFE for marriage certificate though it was submitted. Replied immediately and was approved ~ 45 days after they recvd it. So guess maybe yours will be soon. A New Year present.

My RFE was about three months pay stubs and employer letter.
 
BCIS sucks.I have been waiting for 3 months, since BCIS got the RFE response(within 10 days after RFE was issued). But still no response.

Have you done your 2nd FP? Look like your first one has already expired. I saw several 9/30/2003 RFEs got approved in Dec. You could be the next if no 2nd FP issue.
 
I haven't got any 2nd FP yet, hoping to get approved if these suckers work on my case.

Opened status inquiry last week, which is going to take 30 days. Sent a letter through congressman and lawyer too.

My RFE was for only latest immunization record and USCIS received it on 11/24/2003.
