How long for receipt notice?

I have posted my EAD renewal last week. My check is not cashed till today. I am just curious to know how long it will take? Anyone who received receipt notices recently please post the details here....

I received mine in 10 days

But that was July. INS changes work patterns dramatically for reasons best known to itself.
BTW PrasadS, I was under the impression that your 485 was approved about 3 weeks ago!

I wish that was true. But unfortunately not.
I am one of the dec 2001 filers waiting for the approval. I have my EAD until March 2003. I filed for renewal on my own and waiting for my receipt notice.

I hope you have included a copy of your I-140 approval notice when you filed your EAD.

Why should I includeI-140 approval notice?
 
Well I really dont know

Why we have to provide them I-140 copy for renewal of an expiring EAD. But INS gave me an RFE for precisely that.
So no harm in providing it even if thats not shown in instructions as a required documents list !.

NV2001, but how about spouse renewal EAD? Should I include mine I-140?

Please do that. INS had specifically said that (in the RFE letter) to iclude principal's if the applicant is a derivative. I had posted the whole text of my RFE..please see that for more details.
 
No. I haven't included I-140 and i am the primary applicant.
What can i do now?
Any one who got EAD renewed without a copy of I-140 please post here for my peace of mind.

Well it may not be mandatory

for all to submit I-140 copy with all renewal of EAD apps. But I had posted to this portal more than two weeks ago my RFE details.

I am monitoring for the last three months or more and had not seen even one approval of renewal EAD application. I wonder why?

why don't you mail a copy of your 140 to CSC with your receipt
number and ask them to add it to your current file....atleast
that's what I did after seeing NV2001's RFE....
 
I-485 How much time to get receipt notice

I-465 I-765 was received by INS on Oct 31. How much time it takes to get receipt notice/Check Encashed?

Any help will be appreciated.

Looks like they have a backlog at mail room too.

Are you sure they received it in October....whatever date???
Because, my 765 application was sent on Oct 18th OR 21st to INS by my company's attorney and my company got my receipt notice on 28th with a received date as 10/23.

Wondering why its taking too long for you!! You might want to ensure if they received your papers.
 
My checks are not cashed till today and obviously no receipt notice. Does any body has any information on the recent receipt dates?

Finally my checks were cashed. I am expecting my receipt notice this week. I will update once i receive that.
