How long does it take for them to mail Oath Letter in Dallas??
 
A friend of mine was interviewed on June 28 in Dallas and had his oath on July 3rd. Do you guys have a problem with your file? Or was he just too lucky ?
 
Help with infopass

I am still waiting for my oath letter for the past 2 1/2 months and would like to request an infopass with Dallas office.

I can not find receipt number from my interview letter. There is an application number starts with SSC* . Is this number same as receipt number?

Also what options should I choose from infopass.uscis.gov?

Can I call USCIS directly ?
 
very surprising, since both for me and spouse interviewed by different IO's we got our oath scheduled after the interview 4 days later, just consider myself lucky
 
I completed and passed the interview on August 15, 2008 in Dallas and am also anxiously waiting to receive my Notice of Oath Ceremony letter. I too am wondering how long it usually takes to receive this notice (for Dallas applicants) after passing the interview. Anyone knows when the next Collin county or Dallas county oath ceremony date is?

Mine is at the Dallas Convention Center.
People who live in Tarrant County are being called to Arlington Convention Center or Fort Worth Convention Center, and people who live in Collin County are called somewhere in Collin County.
 
I just received my notice of oath ceremony this afternoon. It's on 9/20 at the Dallas USCIS office on North Stemmons Freeway. Do you happen to know how many guests we can bring to witness this special moment?
 
I got a letter over the weekend, they descheduled my Oath ceremony on 9/17. I'm guessing because they have Hurricane Ike evacuees staying at the Dallas Convention Center.
I was so close....and the waiting game begins again...

I know exactly how you feel. The wait begins again for me as well. I just received the notice today that my Sept. 20 oath ceremony at the USCIS office building has also been descheduled. I'll keep you posted when I receive the notice for the rescheduled oath ceremony and please do the same with yours. Thanks!
 
I am wondering if any1 on this forum had his/her FPs done earlier this year and had to get them done again due to quality issues with the first set. I am in the same boat and my PD is October 2007, got FP'd in March 08 and then was asked to come back again in Sept 08.

I just reviewed the timelines and most folks with PD of Oct 2007 are already getting their interviews done.

I got my 1st FP done in April 07 and was asked to come in for 2nd FP in Sep 08 because the first one expired after 15 months. Where did you hear about the quality issue on FP? I am in Dallas.
 
Coz, mine was within 6 months of the first one. And when I went in for the second one, the person who looked at my 2nd FP notice said "you too" and I asked her what she meant by that. She told me that a whole set of FPs done in March timeframe were getting rejected by the FBI due to quality issues.

In addition, the 2nd FP notice said that the FBI was "unable to process your FPs".
 
Waiting for Oath

I had my interview done on 10/23/08. The DO said it was approved and expect the Oath letter in 30 days. So far I haven't got it. Should I take Infopass appointment or wait for some more time? Any suggestions, please....

I am too waiting for my oath letter. i had the interview 2nd week of November and still waiting.
