How long for EAD and AP from NSC?

Hi, any one please let me know, how long will it take to get Receipt and Notice dates and approvals for EAD and AP NSC? I have mailed my I-485, EAD, AP applications on August 30 to NSC. Not yet received the Receipt and Notice dates.

Wait little more. There are people waiting longer than you. Allow them maximum 40 days for all receipt notice. Yet, If you dont receive receipt notice, then start investigating.
 
When is my turn

Just filed last friday 9/13. Lets see when it comes. I heard than some cases are returned back by mail handler people offcials at NSC as the they are not aware about this new rules. Is not that funny:)
 
How to locate your receipt notice

I always find my receipt numbers thru the cancelled check. The receipt number is entered at teh back of the check when the check is cashed.

Your bank should be able to give the copy of the cancelled check (means cashed check) for a nominal charge, if you dont get the cancelled check.

That is what most lawyers do. It takes about 10-15 days for INS to actually generate the receitp notice and mail it from the check cashed date.

send I485/I131/EAD to NSC on 08/14.

Have not received Receipt notices. The checks are also not cleared. How long should i wait ?

Yes. This is frustrating. I know some cases for concurrent fillings have been returned after one month of file as the way they were not aware about this new rule. HaveBeenWaiting mentioned that. I wonder you are the victim of this or not. Can you ask your lawer to file another petition mentioning that you have applied, but did not get any receipt back within 6 weeks, also ask lawer to mention that it can be ignored if the previous petition is still under processed. You can also call INS and ask them how long should I wait. They usually say 6 weeks. Try this. This is very frustrating brother, I know. They do not know how important this is for our life.

Did you apply for I-485 after obtaining the I-140 approval or Under the new Concurrent filing while your I-140 is in process? If concurrent, did you get your EAD while the I-140 was still pending? Would appreciate your response.

I filed for I-140 in middle of july (still pending) and 485 with a ND of 23rd of August. But have not got my EAD. But I received the Finger print schedule letter couple of days ago in the mail. It is scheduled for the middle of October this year.

I have applied for I-485/EAD/AP after getting the I-140 approval. Yesterday, we (me and my wife) received fingerprinting notices secheduled for Oct 24, 2002.
 
EAD received

I got my EAD card in the mail this afternoon.

I first found out that my EAD was approved on 10/11 from online. At then, AVM was not updated. Then came the long Columbus weekend. On 10/15, the AVM message was changed to approval.

My EAD is valid from 10/11/02 to 10/10/03. The mail stamp was 10/15/02. ND: 08/23/02. Concurrent filing.
 
Received AP.

Hi,

We(me and my wife) received our Advance Payrolls today. Each AP contains 3 similar pages, having our photos imprinted on those. NSC sent those to our lawyer and she forwarded those to us. APs approved on October 10, 2002.

Waiting for EADs. :)
 
My 485 RD was 5/4/02- Never recieved a Notice. Had to call IIo and get my A #

My EAD application RD was 8/2/02- Still pending

AP appplication RD on 6/10, Approved on 10/15.

FP notice not recieved yet.

Live in Iowa, EB3.
