How long does NVC processing take these days?

The I130 I sent to VSC for over-seas parent in August 06 was approved on January 26, 2007.
I know the case has been sent to NVC for further processing, but can someone tell me how long it takes these days for the first packet to come in (the one with the fees)? From your experience guys, please, I am very nervous about this entire process.

For us it came within 3 weeks in Aug-Sep 06. You can call NVC with your I130 receipt # and that way you will know the status (if the case is enetered by NVC) before you actually receive the packet.

Did you get first packet from NVC? Have you verified by calling them. I am also waiting to hear from NVC as I receive the I-130 approval 2 1/2 weeks back.
