how long does it take to get receipt of I485 ?

I will have my I485 filed in a week or two. I wonder how long
does it take to get the receipt from VSC ?

Generally it takes couple of weeks but from first or second week of April 2001 they did not issue receipts to new applicants. New Strategy!! Welcome to the new Q of waiting.
