how long does it take to cash the check?

Hi,

The Vermont Service Center received my N-400 application package on January 20. Today is January 23 and they have not cashed my check yet. Is this normal? Thanks.

Give it at least 2 weeks after they receive your application for your check to be cashed.

Give it a little more time. Cashing the check is one thing you can believe will not get delayed much

I sent my N400 on Dec 27th and the check was cashed on Jan14th. And my mail got forwarded from the service center to the lockbox, so you can add in a few days for that. You should see your check cashed by the first week of Feb...in the meantime, relax!
