How long does it take to approve spouse case after primary applicant is approved ?

if both RD dates are same then it should not take much time, but if RD are diffrent then defintely it will come according RD date. My 2 cents
 
I did mean if the RD/ND are the same.
My husband applied I485 at the same time as me in 2002. He actually went to FP2 in July, 2004 while I went to FP2 in August because I got a RFE for medical in June. However, our LUD both changed to 08/27/04 after both of us got FP2. Then my case got approved on Sept. 23 while his LUD is still 08/27/04.

I don't don't if anyone else has the same situation.

sometimes process gets struck in name check (especially for male applicants). but yet not sure this is the reason for your husband's case - as you are approved just 1 week back. need to wait few more weeks or months to start speculating about the probably causes.
 
Spouse's I-485

Hi:
My I-485 got approved on 09/03/04.
My wife's still pending! We both applied together in one package and did both fingerprints together at Boston. All requisite douments were included.
Does anyone know how long is the usual lag between the approval of principal applicant and derivative applicant?
