How long does it take for the approval from assinging to the officer..!!!

Just got off the phone with IIO and she told that mine & my wife\'s cases are assigned to the officer at the beginning of the year.

Can somone please tell me how long it takes for any kinda response ?

RD 4/1/2001, ND 4/23/2001 FP 10/9/2001, AVM always has the same 975 days crap

My AVM always said that "your application for AOS was received..blah..blah...and it would take 975 days..."

I did my FP 10/9/2001. I am not sure why my AVM is not updated with FP information.....
 
My case is Assigned in First Week of December

But No approval yet.
May be they are still in vacation mood.

usually it is 2-3 weeks unless RFE issued.
GCtrack you may get it at any time since you have already completed about 4 weeks.
it also depends on the workload /efficieny of the officer as well.
good thing is that it is with the officer so the approval can be at any time.
 
Same here

I talked to IIO three times. Got conflicting answers. One said "the case was assigned". A week after, the other said not yet. And, that\'s about a month ago. Still not approved yet. My AVM never changed - still "...was recevied ... 975 days....". The fate is in God\'s hand. Well, maybe, INS folks think they are the God.
