how long does it take for INS to take action on fax inquiry?

I just did fax inquiry for my old case WAC-01-137xxxx, usually how long it take for INS to take action for fax inquiry if any? sharing experience is highly appreciated.

I was surprised that they even bothered
to look at it and my jaw dropped when I saw
reply.

kriore-What are your case details(RD, ND etc) and when did you fax inquiry

you can find all my details under pcee\'s list for July. I am the 3rd in the list, I guess.

Some background on the fax enquiry. I got hold of an IIO on 3/28, asked him what was going with my AOS since, I see everyone else getting it. He was not too helpful but said my FP results were not on file and told me to fax the INS, asking them to do the same. I did the same around noon.

Got a fax reply back yesterday, ( around noon ) informing me that the case is still in process but an officer was assigned. They basically faxed me the same form I sent them except for the above remarks at the bottom.
