HOw long does it take for I-485

Hi All,

I wanted to know how long is it taking to get the I-485 approved after your I-140 has been approved already. My I-140 got approved and initially I had indicated 'CP' but as my spouse is on the family way. We would not be able to travel for the interview. So I am changing to AOS and filing I-485. My caseis going to be in Detroit, MI

When you check your I485 application status on https://egov.immigration.gov/graphics/cris/jsps/caseStat.jsp
it will say that it is taking between 450 and 480 days for approval.

Right now on Rupnet we are seeing cases being approved from Aug thru Nov of 2001.
