Find out if your checks have been debited from your account. If your bank displays checks online, you can get the receipt number from the back of the check and then follow the status online.
My case status shows that my application was received on 6/15, but I still haven't gotten the receipt notice in hand - may be they would send it to lawyer first and lawyer would forward it to us.

it is still the 13th today.
My application was received by NSC on June 1st (I have tracking from USPS) but my Attorney have n't received the reciept.
However my check got cashes yesterday (June 12th) and on back of it i was able to find reciept#. When i check the status based on that number it says they recieved the application 6/7/07 and sent a reciept.
I don't know it says received on 6/7 even though they had it on 6/1.

we sent money orders
We sent our file (the applicant is my husband) on 6/1 to NSC and I know they recevied the envelope on 6/4 because I asked for "Delivery confirmation".
We sent money orders thinking that would be faster to get our receipt notice but we haven't yet. Any idea how I can find if they've cash them or not?

same here. only my attorney got the 485 receipt
