How long does and I-730 process take

My mom has green card but my name wasn't put in her I-589. We are now applying an I-730 for me( un-married male aged 21). Our lawyer says that he has all the necessary files, and he filed the I-730 last week.

My question is, how long does it take to be approved, or how long does the long process take.

USCIS is very in consistent. They can approve a petition in two months or it could them forever to approve a petition. All you can do is track your petition very quickly and respond to RFEs as quick as possible. You could look at the processing times in the USCIS website to have an idea. Generally it will take about a year.
