Does any body know how long do i need to continue with the GC sponsored employee after I received my GC.

1. If you are with a body shopper, fraud, phony, corrupt, fake, sucker employer you can quit today.
2. If you are in a good company, then stay for atleast 1 year to be safe. But I think safe period is 9 months.
But the biggest problem is that working with the (1.) employer for a longer period of time does not leave a person competetive enough to get another good job.

What does the law say. Some say 1 year some say immediately some say whenever. Worked with same company for 7 years. So what choice do I have
Law isn't clear, it says 'you should have a permanent intention to work for the sponsored employer and the employer should have the intention to employ you'. Every one has their own interpretations for this. Any where between 1 month to one year should be ok, I guess, as far as you can prove your intention at the citizenship interview.
