How long did you wait for the card after OPT applicaion got approved ??

in short:

March 01, 2007 - application for OPT sent.
March 15, 2007 - letter for application confirmation arrived.

May 10, 2007 - request for additoinal evidence arrived.
May 12, 2007 - evidence sent.

May 24, 2007 - application got approved, approval notice sent (saw it online)

-> Nothing has arrived in the mail (and it's July 1st, 2007 already). It's past 5 weeks now and I can't start working because of that. Damn it.

I applied in Texas, but live in Atlanta, GA. So how about you guys ???
 
If it has been 5 weeks you may want to check back. What address did you have the EAD sent to? If it was sent to a Texas address you may want to check and make sure that your name was on/in the post box. Sometimes the postal people check to make sure that when they are deliverying Government letters/documents that the name of the person on the letter and the post box to whom it belongs is the same. It happened to me when I applied for the SSN card when I first came here. - not to scare you - Anyways, now that you are approved, hope you get it soon.
 
90 days OPT case still pending

My OPT application receipt is for April 21st. On the Texas Center website, it shows that cases till April 30th have been processed. But my case is still pending. On another note all of my friends from China, Korea and Taiwan have got their OPTs approved with 60 days, some as quickly as within 30 days. It's clear that some form of profiling and background check is going on for students of Mexico, India and other nationalities.
 
got it :) .... but took two months ..

Application approved on May 24th, card arrived July 20th. Bastards.

Interesting is that on the mail envelop stamp it says mailed on May 24th, what was posted online as well, so two possibilities:

1. Post office delayed the mail for 2 months (not likely, the receipt for the application got in 2 days)
2. INS stamped the envelop but did not mail it right away (welcome to US)
