How long could I be outside US?

Hi,
We got political asylum status in June 2002. This summer INS has collected our FP.
I have a question. My wife's currently unemloyed. Now she's got job offer from Swiss. It's famous international sport agency. What does INS say about this situation? Could she go outside US for a work? How long she could be/travel/work outside US with RTD? Please, give us any advise.

Up to the validty period of your RTD, which is no more than on year.

There would be a problem if the USCIS concluded that you have firmly resettled there. Otherwise you should be fine.
