Has anybody stayed abord more than 60 days and come back without problem with valid AP? I heard that we could only stay outside for 60 days whil 485 is pending.

Never heard of something like that !!
You can return anytime before your AP expires.

Where did you read about this ? Pass on a URL if you can

The attorney said there is really no restriction to the time staying outside, however they recommend not to exceed 60 days.

Has anybody staty outside for longer than 60 days and return without problem?

Having said this, my wife once returned after a 100 day stay with no issues.

I stayed out for work for 3 months from May 04. Back in Aug 04 and there was no problems at all. No questions asked from the immigration officer

I went to India last year and stayed around 120 days. Came back using FP without any problem.
