How long can I delay for PP stamping?

I am a primary applicant who will get my passport stamp soon. However, the dependents are on vacation and will be there for quite some time.

How much time do I have until they come here for Passport stamping? or
How long can they stay abroad and then come here to stamp passport?

(they have an AP with a six months validity period left and will be here before AP expires)

Why wait?

I suggest you should have your passport and your family member's stamped as soon as possible. They are going to order your cards if you do not get your
passport stamped. Don't you want to have the plastic card asap so to enjoy a
peace of mind?

You could take vacation whenver you want with the cards.

One year from approval date the approval expires. When they enter using AP they will be informed that they have to get the stamp within a certain date (deferred Inspection).

To Jaxen

Thanks jaxen. Finally this thread caught your attention.

I would like to see more links of Immigration Law to verify that I have 1 year from approval till PP stamping. ( not that I doubt your answer but I would like to carry that with me when I bring my family with me).

Secondly, my spouse's FP will expire in 2 months. Does FP validity required only till GC approval or till PP stamping? What happens when FP is expired when you go for PP stamping?

Your approval letter will state the validity of the approval. Read the fine print.
After approval FP expiry is not an issue.
