How long before receipt shows up online on "My Case Status"? N600

Received acceptance email and text from uscis on Monday evening, June 11. Gave me a receipt number starting with NBC for our n600. How long does it usually take before it shows up online on "my case status"? Or is it a big deal if it doesn't? Thank you very much.

On another note, I noticed on the e-mail confirmation that they suggest you wait until you actually get the paper copy of the confirmation before you check it online on "My Case Status". Is that just because they think it may take several days to show up online, or because the letter actually contains something you need to use for the online status check?

I have heard that even now some N-600's never show up online. Is that due to the fact that they just started issuing receipts for them this year?

I checked online (since I already had an account) the moment I received the email with case numbers and the information was available online. I would say go for it today. Nothing wrong in doing that and checking it out.

Thanks, we received the letter confirmation receipt today in the mail (June 14), it has the NBC receipt number on it (same as our email confirmation which came on June 11). I tried to check status online and doesn't work. Anything to be concerned with or sometimes do n600 cases not show up online?

Absolutely nothing to worry about. Just wait for a regular letter and then check it. You should get the physically letter within 2/3 days anyways.

Thanks, we got the letter in the mail today. Still can't look it up online. Think that's a problem or does that happen sometimes with an n600?
