How long after processing beings to get EAD?

I have a receipt notice for October 1st for my EAD renewal application.
My current EAD expires December 3th.

I had assumed, and now I think maybe incorrectly, that I was giving the USCIS more than enough time.

How long does it usually take from when they begin processing the I-765 to when one receives their new EAD card (currently, TSC is on August 30th)?

If I don't receive my new EAD before my current one expires, what should I do?

--- if you dont get EAD 90 from reciept date of EAD filing you can go to local office with EAD filing reciept+copy of I-485+ fill new I-765 form and go to local USCIS office to get iEAD ( if your pending EAD has RFE when you go to local office then you will not getiEAD from local office)

NSC is taking about 60 to 70 days for processing EAD.

Typically with EAD you don't see any LUD activity ...
the day it gets touched (after receipt) is usually the day it gets approved
-- so you can't get any information from it !
