how long after I751 approval???????????

I called the USCIS and was told by a few different Immigration Officers that my case was approved on February 7th, 2007 and I have still not gotten the approval notice in the mail. I even verified my present address with them. How long does it normally take for them to send out the approval notice? My case is filed and approved out of TSC. Can someone share a similar experience or offer some needed advice?

Is there something I can do to get my green card other than waiting?

^My case was supposedly approved on February 28 according to the IO that I talked to via infopass. I went to the Immigration office on March 23 to hopefully get a stamp on my passport since I will be travelling abroad very soon. The IO denied my request to get a stamp saying that I had to surrender my expired GC if she did that. She said that GC with the extension letter (of one year) was better than a passport stamp.
I did not get my greencard until last Friday (April 6) and my welcome notice has yet to come in the mail.

Thanks for the response. I was approved from Feb 7th and still have not gotten anything. I am getting a bit worried. Was your case an I751 out of TSC?
 
I went to the service center and they did my Biometrics on May 1st 07 and I have yet to see the green card in the mail. Does anyone have an idea how long it usually takes to get the actual card?

:D It came in the mail last week. It took me 15 months but thank goodness it is over!!!!:D :D
