How long after assigned to officer

My lawyer just confirmed that my case is assigned to an officer.
How long does it tipically take to hear something after the case is assigned ?

I think he called up INS. I am not sure if I can believe him or may be I can ..... :rolleyes:

I am a little frustrated and confused right now.
 
The sound of "you will get Approved soon" is so nice..........

Your case must have been with an officer

The chances of your case being with an officer is nearer to 100% unless the RD/ND mess is not interfering(I don't think so). Since October approvals are coming your case should be with an officer. But how soon you hear .... depends on that officer. But it will be soon.
