How long afrer this?

I applied my emp based I485 ON JAN 2003.I am with the same company thruout the process.On march 02, 2005 I did my second FP.
Since then I haven't heard anything from them and also the online status didnot change.
What's happening.Is anybody is in the same boat.
My application is from TSC.
How Long after that to get the approval?

I will appreciate any commnets.Thanks,

No one really knows. Somewhere in the forum the time frame of 1-4 mos between fingerprinting & approval was mentioned (of course, if one's application gets stuck in name/security checking, it means s/he waits forever). More recent applicatns tend to have their fingerprints taken immediatedly after they file i485, and so for them some different time frame would apply.

I'm guessing that the waiting time also depends on how much work the officer processing your case has done before your FP. The more work done before FP, the sooner you hear about the adjudication, obviously! Related to this, I noticed that some people receive RFE(s) after having their fingerprints taken, while others before the FP date. (Though hopefully, we won't get them at all!)
