How is it possible?

INS Online status says that my wife's case has been approved while it still reads the same old story for my case...."On Dec... we received your etc. etc... 450 days 480 days etc."
How is it possible? My wife is my dependent, and we filed 485 applications together.
Any idea friends?

You are right! I don't think it is possible for the derivative's case to be approved first. Most probably your status has not been updated. Why don't you call the IIO today and find out. I am positive your case also has got approved.

Let us know what you find out.
 
I received the curtesy copy from NSC. My case was approved.
My wife's case is still pending. Confusion was mine. I had my and my wife's LIN mixed up in my diary.

It is easy/okay to get confused when dealing with INS.
How much torture can someone bear!
