How Important is Experience letter... PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi All Gurus,

I am in a very bad situation. I got an offer from a company A and I am quitting company B. I am on H1-B. My current employer company A is threating me that they will not provide the experience letter and would not give my remaining salary.

I was wondering how important is the experience letter in Green Card processing. Please advice....

communicate everything only in email with these type of employers . have proof of their exploitation.

you can get the letter from coworkers or vendor or client to show proof of your skills and projects. you are in h1. your paystub and h1 is a proof of your experience.

your employer dont have the right to withhold the salary EVEN IF YOU AGREED IN writing. such clause are invalid. if you agreed then they can only hold the NET salary and NOT GROSS. if they do then report IRS - tax evasion or tax fraud division.

warn them that you will complain to DOL if they hold the salary. communicate only in email. if they force you to discuss in phone only then ask permission to record the conversation. this will fix them.
