I am EB3 ROW April 2002, NSC and I've got RFE recently.
Please let me know if we have folks with PD 2003 or later getting I-485 RFE's as well ?

I have noticed some ..

marlon,

I have seen some threads where people got RFEs for early 03 cases. I guess its a good thing that they are working on these cases but if PDs take a few years to become current whats the point of RFEs at this point. They will probably have to redo them because these RFEs will be worthless at that point. This visa shortage has reduced the workload to such a point that service centers are working on cases 2 years beyond the published PDs. It just shows the extent of mismanagement on the part of the DOS and USCIS alike.

Agree with Saras

as much as we would like to see some patterns thru RFE process, I say there's none. I have PD of Nov. 2001 and my wife got an RFE last month. Still working ont he documents....

Based on the RFEs movement, one may assume that only very recently USCIS has reached cases beyound the 2001 cases. I guess that is something new.

marlon06,

Most guys with PDs in 01 and early 02 have already been approved but the visas are now gone because for a while the service centers were implementing first come first serve procedures (late 2003, all of 2004 and early 2005). Till 245is actually hit or labors from BECs flood the system, a lot of 03 and even 04 cases will start getting RFEs. Without visa numbers, this is an excercise to keep everyone busy. I believe only NSC is doing this. TSC is not issuing RFEs on cases with non-current PDs.
