How early can we go for Re-Stamping I-551

Hi Guys,

My green card was approved on june 15th 2002 in California, I did my stamping on June 20th 2002. But two months back I moved to St Louis, MO. I'm planning to go to India after two weeks. Where should I go for re-stamping my passport. Can I go to local St Louis INS office?. Also how early can I go for restamping, can I go two months early befor the expiry, will they re-stamp my passport .

I haven't received my physical green card so far, the stamping was done in San francisco, CA , in june 2002.

My stamping will be expiring this june 20th 2003.
 
551 stamping

551 stamping can be done 90 days before it expires my lawer told me so. You should to go nearest BCIS service centre serving your area.
You must take driver license / photo ID card for all family members
with new address.
