How does VSC sort case numbers?

My I485's RD is Jan./23/2002, Num: eac021045****.
Yesterday I found that 10 connsecutive numbers around my case has been touched in last several weeks except mine. Several were appoved, several were transferred, several got RFEs. My case number is in the middle of these connsecutive numbers, so I'm wondering how VSC organizes the application documents.
Does anybody know this?

P.S. when I applied for EAD renewal, VSC sent me a RFE
for a better Photo. Since I use the same photo for I485, I asked my lawyer to send a new photo to replace the old one in my I485 application too. Now I'm wondering whether VSC put my documents back to the original order..... It seems that nobody knows how VSC operates on these things....

Thanks.

Photo has to be taken within 30 days of application. There is no need to change the I-485 photo. The I-485 photo was used only for initial EAD and AP. When applying for renewal of EAD, you need to take photo again. When you are approved and before you go for stamping, you need to take another picture for the GC card.

Thanks!! My lawyer didn't tell me this and did send
a new photo to VSC. Hopefully no problem with that.

No problem since BCIS will never match your new photo and your I-485 file.
