How does State of residence impact FP notice?

I have seen comments that the receipt FP notice is dependent on the state. Can anyone explain how this plays out. I am working in Iowa and filed my I-485 in VSC. Should I expect delays in my FP notice?

Probably not

I doubt living in VSC\'s proximity gets you preferred treatment for FP. You will get fingered in due course whether you live in Crawford or Anchorage.

I agree! Just visit www.immitracker.com and look for VSC stats. I live in California but I got the FP call at around the same time as other guys living in VSC area.

Your location doesn\'t matter as long as you live inside the USA
