how do we know that my EAD renewal appln is being processed by INS

Do they send a receipt with EAC # ? Is there anyother way ? I tracked with FedEx that my package has been delivered .
 
EAD info

I just got my EAD in mail earlier in the week from the VSC. The application was sent out on July 17th. It took only three weeks. I did not get any notification or receipt other than noticing in my bank account that my check was cleared in two days. It looks like they are moving pretty fast on this. So - be patient, hopefully it would be there in a short time for you too.

I got receipt

I got EAC number and notice from INS that my applications for renewal are received and processing is going on. I applied on Augst 1 through Express mail and I got receipt on 8/5.

Hope this helps....
 
thanks for your replies. I appreciate it. Now I have another EAC No to track...This game is getting more intersting...

Hmm INS works in weird ways

Normally They just send you the EAD, in my case I mailed my application on July 19 and got the cards on Aug 05.

Did you apply to VSC or Locally??
 
Got renwed EAD cards

Hi I got my renewed EAD cards in just two weeks. Sent application on 8/1 and got cards on 8/16.
