How Do I talk To IIO

hi everyone,
i have been waiting for my i140 since march.Still no sign of it. My lawyer is not willing to call the INS. I know that only the petitioner is allowed to call ,but is there anyone here that has called the IIO on his own to find out about i140. I know this is the wrong forum , but since many of u have gone through this i posted it here.If yes please let me know what information they ask to find out if the person calling is the petitioner.Thanks a lot

hello rush...

dont mean to be rude but looks like you are in the wrong forum. The 485 approval seekers here call up IIO's directly. Maybe you can check with the other I140 approval seekers to know how they followed up their case.
