I am filing I-485 myself. I found out that I need to file certified copies of birth certificate and marriage license and my passport. Could anyone please help me by telling how to I certify those docs instead of notarizing them. Do I just need to draft some kind of Affidavite ? Thank you.

LOL. No, you do not certify those documents. You have no authority to do so. You must obtain certified copies from the issuing agencies in your country or embassy.

You must request the certified copy of your marriage license from the state that issued it (If in the US). Send a copy of it, not the original certified copy, keep that for your interview.
As far as the passport goes, just make a copy of the biographic page and visa (if you have one) and bring the original at the interview, same for your birth certificate. For your birth certificate you need a certified translation in English. You can either pay a certified translator to do so, or do it yourself, and if this will be the case, just type in a letter explaining you are fluent in both languages and you are certifying the translation yourself.

USCIS usually ask for a copy of certified documents like BD or marriage certificate.Note that if you file with oriiginal, you will not get it back. They will ask for original on later time if nessecery.
