My I-485 was approved 6 months ago..however i got e-mails saying that my case has approved on May 3, 2005. that is ridiculous..bc i have received the plastic card already sometime in January. and i went up to Canand with the green card... no problem when coming back here.. and now what? they sent the approval letter.... that is soooo strange... i called 1, 800. # they want me to send the approval letter back to VSC when i got it. it is such a hassle..and i just worried that INS might screw up the approval date since i am considered for naturalization in 5 years..
