How complete and current must academic transcripts be? Aussies input here.

I'm getting transcripts of my completed university degrees. Should I also get transcripts of my unfinished university degrees? I was excluded from one university which shows on the record, and have not yet finished a course at another university. Do I only need the transcripts of my completed courses or everything?

edit: aussie input not needed it was going to be a different question and I forgot to change the title.

if you wantt to, it's better to be fully straigh with the immigration or they might concider it fals or incomplete information. getting fired for uni won't affect your case siince you only need high school diploma

I have no problem telling immigration everything, I just want to know if I need to pay for the transcripts or not, if I didn't end up getting the degree.

what's matter the most is the high school degree, uni degrees are like bonus

I didn't do 12 years of high school, only 10 (which is fine in Australia), so my uni degrees count for a lot more.

oh, didn't know about that, just play it safe, give everything, as long as you do not have criminal record, you're good to go

Don't complicate things the more for yourself since you already have a minimum requirement high school degree rather than jeopartising your chances.

The requirement is 12 years of highschool, not just a highschool degree. Besides, I put that I have a masters when I entered the lottery, would seem silly not to bring proof of that.

The key point here is proof of 12 years of high school (VCE). As another poster pointed out, your uni degrees are the added bonus.

Be very clear to have your 12 years proof.

As I said though, I don't have 12 years of proof, I didn't do 12 years of High School. Which is why the uni degrees are not a bonus but necessary.

That's getting away from the question though. Should I include transcripts from courses I did not complete?

My own opinion would be that incomplete courses would probably be of no use to them.

My concern is that you do not appear to meet one of the key criteria - i.e. not having completed 12 years of school. Yes, it makes sense to say that a Masters is 'higher' in educational ranking than 12 years of school. But it is one of the very few criteria that they have. Most Aussies on this forum are well aware of an Aussie last year who passed all at his interview except he did not have Year 12. He had an apprenticeship and a qualification, they still denied it.

I'd appreciate anyone else on the forum giving some input here please, as I am pretty sure that regardless of university qualifications, they can be very particular about meeting the schooling qualifications (note that I am also at uni but have paid for a transcipt of my old HSC (VCE) to prove I have it).

Has anyone on the forums with Postgraduate degrees (Masters etc) been successful with their interview without 12 years of schooling?

I'm just playing devils advocate here and trying to help - promise :)

The only reason I am not concerned is that as soon as I realized I had won this was my primary concern, as I didn't have 2 years of work in the last 5 years.

I received an email confirmation that because I have a masters degree I would not have a problem, which I intend to show at my interview. Hopefully that will be enough.

Along with 1 year and 7 months (by the time I have my interview) of work in a specialized field, I hope I will be OK...

The reply I got back from the embassy stated:
The DV requirement is minimum high school education. You qualify based on the fact that you have Masters degree.

So that should settle it?

Well, it's from the embassy so you can't get any better than that :)

I didn't mean to burst any bubbles, I was just making sure you had all your bases covered, and you certainly seem to have.

All the best :)

Thanks, I appreciate it. I was terrified to think I won but wouldn't be eligible, so that email was a huge sigh of relief, as long as it is honored at my time of interview.
