I am finding it hard to figure out how to talk to a service rep. It always just get me to the automated system and my I-140 is never available (been missing for months). Is there any way to talk to a live person ?

Sai wait for some more time. My I-140 is also missing. We can inquire only after LUD crosses 30 days mark. Even I am waiting. Lets both pray for each other.

Yes sai, RD is 03/04/04 and ND is 03/08/04. So we are around the corner holding the pee and bitting the nails

Outletvolt1, if we look up the USCIS processing time link, it mentions
If you filed 30 days or more befor the date shown under "Processing Cases with Reseipt Date of" and you have not received request for evidence, a decision, or anather notice, please call National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.
This means that we cannot initate an enquiry before the dates posted are 30 days beyound our RD.
I-140 belongs to the employer. So, if employer has filed G-28, we will not get any information through phone and case status might not even get posted on the uscis website, except for the receipt information. So only the Lawyer or the company can give us information about our case. If we have crossed the deadline of 30 days, then we can ask lawyer/company to initate an enquiry as to why we have not received any decision from USCIS.
I-485 is ours. We can call customer service and find out status once the dates of 485 posted are 30 days beyond our RD
