Hi All,
I am a permanent resident and I filed I-130 for my husband back in 2007. His priority date is now current and I received I-864 from NVC after I payed the fee.
The problem is that now a days, I am jobless and my husband (who is doing PhD from Germany) is sponsoring my living in USA. He gets some 1600 Euro Scholarship per month and he already obtained a certificate from his university that he will be allowed to study in USA for 18 Months and current scholarship will continue.
Please guide me:
1- Is it possible that I can use his annual income in the I-864. (please note that he is in Germany)
2- For Household of three (Me, my husband and our daughter) I find that his income is slightly less that 125% of poverty line, Can I compensate it with my property in India ?
3- Can I use a joint sponsor (my cousin, LPR of USA) whose income will be added to the income of my husband to make total income higher than 125% of poverty line ?
4- OR, Do I have to find Joint sponsor who will sponsor my husband sole on his income earned in USA.
Thanks,
Aarthi
