How can I get a separate interview dates for my Wife and I?

Hi Guys,

My spouse and I are both on separate H1Bs and are going for CP through my employment. We do not want to appear for the CP interview on the same day(just to make sure that atleast one of us can return back to USA to take care of House etc. in case there is a screw up). Could you tell me how we can manage to get separate interview dates?

Dont throw up hypothetical situations. Both of you will be fine, as long as you have required documentation. Even in the worst case, they will ask for additional documentation but will not deny you visa unless there is a fraud.

So dont panick, relax and plan for GC interview together.

my additional 2 cents

I don\'t think you have a cause to worry. Talking to AOS folks and seeing my case go through, it is much easier and safer to go for CP.

Also they don\'t cancel yr visa unless they reject you. Grounds of rejections are "fraud", "invalid stay in US" & "no job for employment based cases". All other cases, may be deferment due to incomplete documentation. Deferments still have valid visa.

So don\'t worry, be cool, nothing can go wrong unless you make it to be.
