How can I apply GC to my wife

I am a permanent resident and am planning to marry an Indian origin girl residing in US. I have several questions about adding her as dependent to my GC.

- Can I apply her as dependent soon after I get married? Or is there any wait period?

-Approximately, how much time it will take her to get EAD card and approval after I start the process of adding her as dependent

- Is it mandatory for her to have valid visa status to stay in US after she initially apply as dependent? Are the receipts sufficient for her stay in US or is there anything else we should take care for avoiding the “out of status” issues.

- We plan to marry in India, reenter in US and apply her process. If so, does my wife have any problem in reentering on her H1 visa (because she is eligible to apply for GC from outside the country)
 
If you are already a Permanent Resident, it will take approximately 5-7 years to get her GC. Right now, it takes about 5 years, 3 mos for visa #s of GC spouses to become current. It will be much faster if you become a citizen and then apply for her. It might be much faster also of she does it thru her job. Nonetheless, you can get married anywhere, but will need to apply here. It wont affect H1, cos H1 is a dual intent visa. Also she wont be able to get an EAD for 5+ years.
