Are there any similar thing to H1 in India for other nation people to work ?
May be some foreign nation people may go to india in search of jobs ? Because we are here waiting stupidly for GC, leaving the chances there to others.:D:D

Ethipian may work for less than an Indian in India ?:D:D

After all it is Software you know .............

Lol, We have a few DESI American citizens working in our office in India. They didnt need any visa to work as they are PIOs.

they are not born in India ( Fortunately .. to have less count on our population figure ):D:D

There is nothing unfortunate to be born in India( my opinion), I am very proud infact.

We are not in Kenya or Uganda (some African countries) etc. where girls are raped and men are slaughtered and young are recruited into mafia or militia.

We all got good education and most of it was almost free if u look at what u paid.

And we learnt things the hard way so that we dont panic for seeing some silly small thing and run to counselling or a Psychiatrist ( and panic when we hear MATH even before taking a MATH class)

Of course the political system is not good in India, hey but it is not perfect here either( look what Bush and CIA said on Iraq )

I got a seat in the top 10 Engineering colleges through merit by getting a very good rank in the admissions test for engineering colleges. I spent only $200(as per todays exchange rates) for tuition, supplies, transportation(combined) .. Tuition was only $ 100 for 4 years. When I say this here, people are astonished. Where else can you get such cheap education?

There's nothing to discuss

Most Indians living here are here for their kids, and thats not such a bad thing. And most of them have plans to return to India when old age occurs. And if the dollars earned here are going to get a nice comfy life there, then why the heck not? All a man wants is a good life.

Being born in democratic country and living in oldest democratic country, everybody has the right to express.

Considering the caste system in India and level & roots corruption, I think UBI is correct term.

Had it not been for the reservation system (caste based), I would have been an IAS officer, serving the great motherland.

And had it not been for the 4th most corrupt country in world, to be ruled by rich and criminal politicians, I would not have come to US.

So for some people UBI is correct term. Everybody else, go sing the song....

Anyone who is forced to leave their home country and endure the pain of being away from loved ones, just so that the future generations can have a better living is UNFORTUNATE. Most of us are doing this so that our sons/daughters, and grand children can live in a society where one gets rewarded for hardwork.

Better still or have the money to bribe people to get things done.

The above views does not make me any less patriotic and I'm just a victim of the system (or lack of it) back home.
 
I just don't get why many of you are here trying to get permanent residency if India is such a great place. Why don't you just go back to your free education, great culture, peace of mind and the plethora of opportunities? Heck, the back log in BCIS will subside and I might actually get my GC!

Seems like everyone just wants the Dollars... what a bunch of hypocrites!?
