doubts

i doubt it will get anywhere with competing bill from republicans also in the house , especially coz this is election year. It is no more than political stunt. Democrats were lagging behind when it come to immigration reforms, hence the bill. Dont let your hopes go too high, as this bill (like other one) primarily targets illegal immigrants.
 
Thats what it says in the begining. But later on it makes a general statement. It is atleast good that the two parties fight over this issue. It gets some attention. We may be able to capitalize on this, hopefully.

I share your optimism. But frankly, i seriously doubt the sincerity of both policitical parties. I mean if both parties were serious, the immigration could have beeen reformed by now and we would have a very efficient and streamlined USCIS, and we wont have to literally beg and fight in court for our GC.

I coudnt agree with you more. Instead of analyzing/predicting the UCIS moves and workflows, we should be doing something more productive. But we have been reduced to this. We are ready to grab any straw that we may find .......
