Homeland as a transit zone for flight?

My wife is derivative asylum, so she wanna go country near her homeland, from where i have my status. For her this country will be neutral. But there is a big problem to go to that country without attending my homeland as a connection flight. But is it can be a problem if she gonna stay in transit zone, without leaving?

Transit countries never come up. As a derivative asylee, she's also not scrutinised as thoroughly. So, unless she has a fear of the country, she can transit. It can also be argued that she can go there to see relatives, etc. It depends on your case, and whether her life is in danger. It is, of course, better to avoid going until she becomes a citizen, but if she needs to go to see a dying relative, or for another urgent situation, as a derivative, she has a lot of leeway.
