My priority date is 10/10/2001.
I-485 - August-2003 in Vermont.
I concurrently filed 1-140 and I-485 under EB3
My 1-140 is approved
However 485 is still pending. Running on my 7th year H-1B extension:
FP done in Feb –2005​

My attorney opened an inquiry at USCIS and got a letter from USCIS stating that my I485- AOS approval is pending because the routine security check at homeland security is delayed. It further states that they don’t have an ETA on when it will be approved.

:o I am clueless, what should I do? Please advice.

Lot of guys on the same situation and am one of those.

I did not do much for this except waiting.

You can

Send an expedite request to FBI ( not sure if this really works)
Talk to Senator
Send an expedite request to USCIS too.

I don;t know if any of these is really is going to work but instead of sitting idle and have time to do its better to try.
