hi guys
                                        at last my long lasting saga with VSC has ended.
                                        My case got approved on 12/11/01
                                        had my RFE lost in mail finally acknowledged on NOv 27 01
                                        (3 months after i did send it).
                                        and here comes the same pattern of approval
                                        15 days after they receive the RFE.
                                        thanks to all u guys.

yeah i have waited long almost 2 years and a month after i had applied for I485
it was my bad luck that RFE was delivered late because of sep 11 tragedy.
also my RFE was opened late almost 2 months because of antrax scare in VSC.
well follow up ur case, once its assigned to an officer it should not take more than
30 days . the general pattern is 15 days.
